January
The best days in January are 29th and 30th during the time of Basant Panchami, which
marks the beginning of preparations for Spring.

February
February is an important month with Thaipusam, celebrating Lord Murugan, and Maha Shivaratri commemorating Lord Shiva. February has four auspicious days that are suitable for griha pravesh.

3rd – Dashmi
5th – Jaya Ekadashi, which is celebrated in honour of Lord Vishnu is particularly
auspicious
13th – Panchami
26th – Tritiya

March
March is the month of festivals this year with Holi, Gudi Padwa and Ugadi being celebrated. March has five auspicious days, which are as follows.

9th – Poornima or the full moon day is considered highly auspicious for new beginnings.
Holi also falls on the same day.
11th – Tritiya
12th – Tritiya
18th – Dashmi and Ekadashi
19th – Ekadashi

April
April is full of festivities with Ramnavami, Hanuman Jayanti, Baisakhi and Vishu all lined up. But apart from these festivals, April has only two auspicious days that are suitable for griha pravesh.

25th – Tritiya. This is also the day when India celebrates Akshaya Tritiya, one of the most
auspicious days for all new beginnings.
27th – Panchami.

May
May is mostly a quiet month with three auspicious dates.

8th – Dwitiya
18th – Ekadashi
23 – Dwitiya

June
June or the month of Ashadh is considered highly inauspicious for housewarming ceremonies or other happy occasions. June 15th is the only auspicious date in the month after which there are no more until October. From the second half of June, the following three months are believed to carry negative energies and are not considered suitable for life-changing occasions or important decisions in business. It is considered to be a time when financial losses or health issues can peak.

October
The winds of change begin to blow in October with numerous festivals like Navratri, Dussehra, and Sharad Poornima taking place. However, there are no auspicious dates available for griha pravesh.

November
Positive energies are restored in November along with an array of holy occasions and festivals like Karwa Chauth, Dhan Teras, Diwali, Bhai Dooj, Chhath Puja, and Kartik Poornima. November has three auspicious dates for planning your housewarming ceremony.

December
